I did this and after typing startx it now says it can't find the config
file in /var/log/XFree86.0.log. Where should the config file be?

I have already tried to modify this file. I now have:
screen 0 - vt100
screen 1 - vt100
screen 2 - vt100
screen 3 - vt100
screen 4 - -
screen 5 - -
screen 6 - -
screen 7 - -
I am still getting the same error.
Also, even if I use find / -name "gdm.conf", I can't find a config file.
Would it be possible to for you to send me some working configs?
Thanks,
Al
