Mounting of Cowon iAudio 7 on 4.0
Hello all,
Recently I purchased a Cowon iAudio 7. The device work well under Linux,
allow me to mount it and copy file to it. However, any attempt to mount it
under NetBSD 4.0 fails.
dmesg brings up this:
umass1 at uhub3 port 4 configuration 1 interface 0
umass1: COWON Systems, Inc. iAUDIO 7, rev 2.00/1.00, addr 3
umass1: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
scsibus1 at umass1: 2 targets, 1 lun per target
sd1 at scsibus1 target 0 lun 0: <COWON, iAUDIO 7, 0100> disk removable
sd1: fabricating a geometry
sd1: 15776 MB, 15776 cyl, 64 head, 32 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 32309248 sectors
but disklabel prints this:
4 partitions:
4 partitions:
# size offset fstype [fsize bsize cpg/sgs]
a: 32309248 0 4.2BSD 0 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 - 15775)
d: 32309248 0 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 - 15775)
disklabel: boot block size 0
disklabel: super block size 0
Mounting just results in:
mount_msdos: /dev/sd1a on /mnt/iaudio: Invalid argument
Trying to mount it a ffs naturally fails saying incorrect super block.
Any pointers?
