pci-e graphics card?

Hi,

If I wanted to buy a retail PCI-e graphics card today, what model would
be the safest bet if I want to get working DRI with what we currently
have in src, pkgsrc and wip?

I have read that people have Radeon 9800 working, but those are
unfortunately EOL and not PCI-e. Are any of the Radeon HD cards known
to work with DRI?
