oh,the problem now resloved.
i use "chainload" instead of "kernel" and write the menu.lst of grub as
follwed:
“title netbsd 4.0
root (hd0,2) chainloader +1 boot ”
then it runs ok.
but when i use the "makeactive" command as folllowed:
"title netbsd
4.0--1
rootnoverity (hd0,2) makeactive chainloader +1 boot"
it returns "invalid deviece command requested",i don't know why. 2008-01-07
