Ah, that's true, but, I see that the *.a files exist in /usr/lib/i386/.
(Prolly should be removed.)

Without the base32 set, I see:
```
qemu$ uname -a
NetBSD qemu.local 11.0_STABLE NetBSD 11.0_STABLE (GENERIC) #0: Sun Aug 2 14:10:41 UTC 2026 mkrepro%mkrepro.NetBSD.org@localhost:/usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC amd64
qemu$ gcc -m32 -pthread -o pt pt.c -lpthread
ld: cannot find -lgcc_s: No such file or directory
ld: cannot find -lgcc_s: No such file or directory
qemu$
``
After unpacking the base32 set:
```
qemu$ gcc -m32 -pthread -o pt pt.c -lpthread
qemu$ ls -l pt
-rwxr-xr-x 1 rvp wheel 20496 Aug 3 22:57 pt
qemu$ ./pt
[1] Segmentation fault (core dumped) ./pt
qemu$
```
