 OK, I get the same error if I upgrade from 10.1 (which doesn't need the base32
 set, and doesn't have that symbol in libpthread) to 11.0 using the ISO (which
 now doesn't come with base32).
 
 Extracting the 11.0 base32 set fixed this.
