We have an Intel server with two on-board NICs and one PCI NIC (also by Intel). 
 One of the NICs gets detected correctly as "wm0" but the second NIC, which has 
a slightly different model number ("82579LM") never gets detected.  Here's the

Boot the server, type "ifconfig -l" to see that the second on-board NIC is 
missing.

>Fix:
Add a 10/100/1000 PCI NIC (this is not ideal because it consumes the only PCI 
slot in the server).
