 I also think only pserver server would matter at this point, unless the
 OP experiences another more general issue.  I also checked out a few
 repositories under CVS pserver (hosted on a netbsd-5 system) without
 issues.
 
 While trying to setup another pserver (this time on netbsd-6) I
 realized that it's been so long since the last time, and after two
 failed attempts I'd have to read some documentation, which I
 unfortunately can't do today.
