There is a difference between "attaches", "works", and "works to my
expectations".

The radeon driver attaches, but it does seem to suck. 

 1) There was no GLX (llvmpipe only).
 2) Watching twitch.tv was an exercise in pain. Could not maintain
    anything but the lowest resolution. CPU usage was unexpectedly
    high.
 3) Applications like media players and Firefox would dump core when
    exiting.

The AMDGPU seems to be more reliable. Also, in past tests I have seen
the graphics artifacts that some others have mentioned, but everything
_seems_ good on 10.99.12 (from Feb 11 maybe).
