we should probably just remove the check itself, as "automating"
this can actually mean reverting someone's local change now.
these files were either wrongly in netbsd or previously part of
the normal default and thus we warned about them, but did not
automate removing them.
whatever the case, postinstall shouldn't remove any of the files
in conf.d automatically (but removing them from avail.d would
be fine, and is handled by obsolete checks.)
there's a recent-ish PR about it i meant to reply to.
