raidframeparity and /etc/defaults/rc.conf

Does someone know of a reason for a setting for the rc.conf
(rc.d/*) variable raidframeparity to be omitted from rc.defaults/rc.conf ?

To me that looks like an oversight.

Assuming I correct that, does anyone know of a reason it should not
default to YES ?

That is, does anyone know of a likely reason not to check (and commence
fixing if required) the parity on any existing raidframe sets (the script
does nothing if there are none of those) when the system boots?   That is
distinct from some local special case reason where one might want to
defer the parity check/repair until later.

Whatever is done, an explicit setting in /etc/rc.conf will always override
/etc/defaults/rc.conf of course, so anyone already setting it will not be
affected.
