I assume someone attempted to make spidermonkey17 independent of
spidermonkey52, so you can have them co-exist for random packages which
require them. polkit for a long while required an extremely old version,
for example.

make replace doesn't work if the package is not previously installed.

I committed this change, thanks for testing.
