Re: X Server struggle
The hardware is a Lenovo 80S6 (Lenovo N22) which has an LCD screen.
Startx, xinit and Xorg all produce the same results in the Xorg log file.
MintLinux configures the output on eDP1, matches a two Intel drivers, Vesa and FB but ends up using the i915 Intel driver. That appears to be the same driver NetBSD is attempting to use.
