that worked indeeed. I failed to mention that I actually wasn't 
installing but running pkg_rolling-replace (and then make replace as a 
further attempt).
That means the replace process when the virtual package emacs changes 
from emacs 24 to 25!
Quickly fixed, but inconvenient.
