| Shouldn't the mtree/specials file also be conditional? Can it be?

Just mark it optional and add unbound while you are at it?

Done.

Is there any reason for /etc/sasl entries to be sitting in the middle of the /etc/rc.d/ stuff? Should sasl be moved down into position based on ASCII collating sequence?
