mq_receive man-page error?

SYNOPSIS says

     ssize_t
     mq_receive(mqd_t mqdes, char *msg_ptr, size_t msg_len,
         unsigned *msg_prio);

RETURN VALUES says
     Upon successful completion, the mq_receive() and mq_timedreceive()
     functions return a value of zero. ...

Seems to me that if mq_receive() returns a ssize_t, then it should be
returning the size of the received message?
