Do you have some media settings in ifconfig.wm0 ?
media autoselect
Maybe try to remove the media settings completely
I tried that. It made no difference.

Two days ago, I fixed some bugs about BMC (if_wm.c rev. 1.260).
Today I tested with Supermicro X7SPA-HF. This is the same
product that the first mail reported. I connected only one
Ethernet port "LAN1" to a switch. This port is shared with BMC.
The LAN1 port (wm0) works fine.
And:
-current: BMC still respond after booted NetBSD.
6.1: Same as above.
6.0: BMC doesn't respond after booted NetBSD.
I don't know when I fixed the bug :)
The following log was made when netbsd was up.
192.168.0.250 is not wm0's address but the BMC's address.
