Clock stuck

Hello,

While debugging some build problems of a package in amd64 5.99.59 (from 
Jan 15)... I realized that the clock of my machine was stuck:

netbsd:~> date; sleep 5; date
Tue Jan 17 11:41:19 EST 2012
Tue Jan 17 11:41:19 EST 2012

Attempted an "ntpdate start", which moved the clock forward to the 
correct time, but it still did not move on its own.  Restarted the 
virtual machine and then things worked.

Has anyone spotted this?
