I didn't bother to look exactly - I think it was in the gmp section when 
building tools. It may be a little later, but it was early during the build.

Not really - I just have it as compile option in mk.conf because I played with
it a while ago on i386.

Sorry that I am not much of a help here, I am currently more focused to get 
a radio clock driver integrated with NetBSD.
