I keep looking there for daily snapshots, and I also find nothing new since 
June 29, 2011.

I also find nobody has answered your inquiry so far, and notice on 
distrowatch.com that NetBSD is falling in page hit rankings.

If the daily autobuilds are being discontinued or suspended for summer 
vacation, it would be appropriate to announce that fact rather than keeping 
people guessing.

FreeBSD produces snapshots only monthly or less frequently.  I guess you're 
supposed to download/update the source code and do the building yourself?

Building the whole userland from source depends on having enough disk space and 
RAM, might not be feasible on an older computer.
