ipnat network traffic triggering panic?

Hi!

In my setup, I have a wireless router behind my desktop machine that
routes its traffic through ipnat through the desktop machine (5.99.48,
later 5.99.49/amd64) to the wider world.

In the last weeks, it has happened at least three times that a machine
(computer or phone) was attaching to the wireless network and the
desktop machine dropped into ddb. At least I assume it did, anyway it
dropped out of X and hung on a black screen -- vga restore command
didn't seem to work.

Anyone else seen similar problems?
