I finally got around to try a system from September, 1st, yielding
the same symptoms. Do you happen to recall when you started commiting
your changes, so I can try sources from before? Also, I can only
trigger the problem with PAE, which slows the grep over pkgsrc down
considerably, but I guess this is a matter of timing and not a
problem with PAE itself.
