Since this is a kernel tailored to the specific hardware and features
of my machine, it may have issues with random other systems.

In the meantime, I'll build a GENERIC with PAE enabled and see how that
behaves.


(For some reason, although your posts are sent to me and Cc:ed to
current-users@, none have actually reached me.  Nor have they been
false positives in my ISP's SPAM trap.)
