weird console behaviour

Hi,

On a fresh amd64-current install from the 2010-05-19 daily builds
available on nyftp.netbsd.org, and with the Swiss German encoding
enabled in /etc/wscons.conf, piping fails for me as follows (both in
csh and in ksh, in sh I cannot even type the pipe character):

# echo hi | less
hi | less

Things work as expected when I switch to the us encoding.
