On a serial console, I get:
total memory = 8051 MB
avail memory = 7790 MB
RTC BIOS diagnostic error 0x11<memory_size>
mainbus0 (root)
cpu0 at mainbus0 apid 0: Intel 686-class, 2327MHz, id 0x6fb
cpu1 at mainbus0 apid 1<reboot here>

With boot -1, the boot completes.
