Re: Samba stopped working on yesterday's -current

I can confirm that smbd and nmbd fail to start on my -current 5.99.24 amd64 system built from sources that were cvs update'd on 2010-03-07 at 02:41:07.

I have rebuilt samba from pkgsrc but the problem remains.

Hi,

On

# uname -a
NetBSD loan8 5.99.24 NetBSD 5.99.24 (GENERIC) #0: Sun Mar 14 22:54:40
GMT 2010 root@uksup2:/usr/obj/usr-current/i386/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC
i386

I get:

# ktruss /usr/pkg/sbin/smbd
18391 1 ktruss fktrace = 0
18391 1 ktruss emul(netbsd)
18391 1 ktruss fcntl(0x4, 0x3, 0) = 1
18391 1 ktruss fcntl(0x4, 0x4, 0x1) = 0

And that's all. This is samba 3.0.37 from pkgsrc -current (more or
less). It used to work fine with earlier 5.99.24 from about 10 days
ago.

(Same for nmbd and winbindd).

Clean tree, GENERIC not customized at all. The rest seems to be working OK.

Any ideas?
