after updating, cannot start smbd

Hello,

After updating to -current as of 2010-02-22, smbd from net/samba no
longer starts. Rebuilding the package did not help.
ktrace and gdb do not provide any useful insight:

# ktrace /usr/pkg/sbin/smbd
Abort
# kdump ktrace.out
  6147 1 ktrace EMUL "netbsd"
  6147 1 ktrace RET ktrace 0
  6147 1 ktrace CALL execve
(0x7f7ffffffe37,0x7f7fffffdc60,0x7f7fffffdc70) 6147 1 ktrace
NAMI "/usr/pkg/sbin/smbd" 6147 1 ktrace NAMI
"/usr/libexec/ld.elf_so"

(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/pkg/sbin/smbd
Program terminated with signal SIGABRT, Aborted.
The program no longer exists.
You can't do that without a process to debug.
(gdb) bt
No stack.

Ideas, anyone?

-Tobias
