Re: netbsd-5 system hangs while booting since recent kernel update

It's the recently [1]pulled up [2]change to auich.c which causes the
regression: reverting to rev. 1.127 lets the kernel boot again.  It
prints:

  [...]
  usb0 at uhci0: USB revision 1.0
  auich0 at pci0 dev 31 function 5: i82801BA (ICH2) AC-97 Audio
  auich0: can't map codec i/o space
  isa0 at ichlpcib0
  [...]

I'm not familiar with the code; what might be the problem with it?
