Question about user limits
Hey, i'm setting up a netbsd/sparc server that some other people will
have access to.
Regarding memory per user, i'm sure this exists else it seems a user
would be capable of consuming all memory and assumingly crash the system
and hence be an extreme denial of service hazard. I am familiar with the
'memoruse' variable in login.conf but have not an idea if it pertains to
a per process limit or user, such as process limits do. I feel limiting
perhaps, 16 processes and 32 mB per process is as low as i'd like to go
to do it that way, and that's still 512 mB of memory which is too much.
