How to use mdnsd host name resolution under netbsd?

Hi!

After running mdnsd on my -current machines I tried to activate its
use according to nsswitch.conf(5) like:

  hosts: files dns multicast_dns

or

  hosts: files mdnsd

But:

  ping [host].local

does not work / hangs, though

  dns-sd -G v4v6 [host].local

shows correct results for [host]'s ipv4/6 addresses.

MacOSX on another machines can retrieve/use mdnsd's result off my
netbsd machines via network.

So, can somebody enlight me, how to use/activate mdnsd's host name
resolution under netbsd itself?
