After translating the boolean mute flag into the HDAUDIO_AMP_MUTE_*
namespace correctly it works as expected.

Looking at the code I found that this can never have worked:
There is some code for polling the pin states which is disabled.
And there is no code to support notifications by unsolicited responses
(as azalia does).
