Hang after ahcisata
Using GENERIC on 5.0 (or -CURRENT as of today), my system hangs
immediately after probing ahcisata. If I boot with the -c option and
then disable ahcisata from userconf, the system boots up just fine (but
doesn't see my SATA disks, obviously). I have seen similar reports,
mostly from 2008, mostly with suggestions to update and try again as it
was a known, fixed problem.
Here is everything regarding ahcisata from the dmesg output, and I am
attaching the full output to the serial console:
ahcisata0 at pci0 dev 31 function 2: vendor 0x8086 product 0x2681
ahcisata0: interrupting at ioapic0 pin 20
ahcisata0: AHCI revision 1.1, 6 ports, 32 command slots, features 0xc6206000

atabus2 at ahcisata0 channel 1
atabus3 at ahcisata0 channel 2
atabus4 at ahcisata0 channel 3
atabus5 at ahcisata0 channel 4
ahcisata0 port 2: device present, speed: 3.0Gb/s
ahcisata0 port 1: device present, speed: 1.5Gb/s
I am willing to do any testing needed to fix this problem. The NetBSD
pr database isn't turning up anything promising when searching for
ahcisata, so I'll open up a pr if necessary.
