suspend on dell mini 12 ?
Hi,
my Dell Mini 12 laptop running NetBSD/i386 5.0_RC3 claims to support S3
suspend mode but doesn't:
# sysctl hw.acpi.supported_states
hw.acpi.supported_states = S0 S3 S4 S5
# apm -S # S1 - this is not advertized to work
System will enter standby mode in a moment.
acpi0: entering state 1
acpi0: ACPI S1 not available on this platform
# apm -z
System will enter suspend mode in a moment.
acpi0: entering state 3
Devices without power management support: pciide0
acpi0: aborting suspend
pciide0 is:
# dmesg | grep pciide0
pciide0 at pci0 dev 31 function 1
pciide0: vendor 0x8086 product 0x811a (rev. 0x07)
pciide0: bus-master DMA support present, but unused (no driver support)
pciide0: primary channel wired to compatibility mode
pciide0: primary channel interrupting at ioapic0 pin 14
atabus0 at pciide0 channel 0
pciide0: secondary channel wired to compatibility mode
pciide0: secondary channel ignored (not responding; disabled or no drives?)
