GENERIC wont boot

Hi,

I'm currently fighting with the new modules framework.

I have built a new kernel and userland and installed them.

Then did,

cd sys/modules
make
make install

which got me some nice shiny modules in /stand/i386/5.99.5/modules

i then updated my bootloader with

installboot -v /dev/rwd0a    /usr/mdec/bootxx_ffsv2

now when i rebooted it fails to detect any file systems

boot device: wd0
root on wd0a dumps on wd0b
no file system for wd0 (dev 0x0)
cannot mount root, error = 79
root device (default wd0a):

This is on 5.99.5 i386
