Using ink printers with NetBSD?

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out which new printer can be used with NetBSD and
can't find support for the current available ink printers.

It looks like gutenprint is the best software for that task, because it
has support for a lot of printers, but not for new models (even with 5.2.2).

E.g. the Canon PIXMA iP3600 or iP4600 are not supported.

There is a driver from Canon for linux available, but that seems to include
some linux only libraries.
