SiS agp and corrupted video

I've a new Fujitsu-Siemens laptop which corrupts the screen as soon as agpattaches in autoconf. The pchb is vendor 0x1039 and product 0x0671. Thishappens on both 4.0 and 5.0. The machines continues to boot if I disableagp in userconf.
