Ok, I've managed to get the kernels to compile (I want this for amd64,
but I'm starting out with i386). But when I insert the card I get this:
...
[satalink_cardbus_match]
(manufacturer 0x0, product 0x0) vendor 0x1095 product 0x3512
(miscellaneous mass storage, revision 0x01) at cardbus0 function 0 not
configured
Vendor 0x1095 is CMDTECH and product 0x3512 is exactly the product
that satalink_cardbus should match. And the "[satalink_cardbus_match]"
is just my debug message to verify that we're hitting the match
function. But what is the "(manufacturer 0x0, product 0x0)" stuff?
I have absolutely no clue as to why this isn't matching. Any ideas?
Regards,
Johan
