Intel Montevina, Shirley Peak, etc.

(yes, I know the subject sounds like an 80's American soap opera)

What is our support like (if any!) for Intel's new Montevina platform and 
more specifically, the Shirley Peak and Echo Peak wireless components:

I can't see any obvious references to this from any of the BSDs, but I'm 
getting laptop suppliers saying that they no longer supply non-Montevina 
platforms and, as such, cannot support 3945 wi-fi for example.
