It's worse...
At the time that message first appeared, the primary battery was about
full (according to envstat), but the secondary was empty. I got
messages about the battery being critical, at which point the machine
powered down. I plugged it in, and the battery light started flashing,
as if both batteries were low. I unplugged it, removed both batteries,
reinstalled them, plugged the machine in, and left it powered off while
I ate dinner. The blinking light turned solid, as it should; when I
rebooted, though, I got the same ACPI messages... Hardware? Should I
drain both batteries? Removed the secondary?
