Now that boot -d works again on amd64, there's not much point in it.
"w mp_verbose 1" has the same effect. It would be nice if that can be
exposed a bit easier though.

It shouldn't be enabled by default as it is useful in only a few
situations (not even aprint_debug) and often generates quite a lot
output.
