My core2duo doesn't even get that far:

panic: kmem_poison_check: 0xcb81fc90: 0x00 != 0x48

during autoconf. Still have to find out what that means.

Yesterday's kernel was more or less usable (with a patch
to sched_m2, see my mail). Audio didn't work, but it
didn't crash in normal use. So your problem (if it exposes
with 2 processors) might have been introduced today.
