Really??

The only time it ever made any sense at all to use csh for
scripts was in the brief period between when the first 2BSD
release appeared (when csh was first released, about 1978)
and when 7th edition (with the Bourne sh) was available
(starting 1979).

Even the buggy, and very limited compared to modern variants,
7th edn sh was MUCH MUCH better for scripts than csh was, or
ever has been.

About the only argument for retaining csh that makes zero
sense is to retain it for scripts.
