su(1) in /rescue?

I ran into issues with corrupting dynamic linker in the kernel (at
run-time) and just statically-linked executables were working. Sadly I
was logged as a normal user and I was unable to switch to root and
gracefully reboot(8) the machine. Killing the login at serial-interface
resulted in dying it after reset.

Also entering the kernel debugger wasn't possible, as I hadn't it
accessible.

What do you think about adding su(1) to /rescue? There could be also
some statically-linked fallback at reset of the serial - but I would
need to investigate it to say what exactly.

In the end I had to hard-reset the machine (after calling /rescue/sync)
and my partition got corrupted too.
