I agree with this. I was even considering writing Lua bindings for proplib
when Lua was accepted. One use case I had in mind was sending proplib from
control tool to the kernel and receiving data from the kernel. But then I
saw a statement that Lua shouldn't be used in such tools. This stopped me.
