I don't see this as a reasonable request.

This would mean that he'd have to set up test environments on
platforms that he's perhaps not even running.

I'd be fine with "please send me the patch so I can test it on
MacOS/Linux", or "please commit it on a Friday" so it can be fixed
quickly after the commit.
