FYI, I already applied the workaround to devel/zlib/builtin.mk
(https://mail-index.netbsd.org/pkgsrc-changes/2025/10/24/msg332623.html),
but it hasn't been pulled up to 2025Q3.

(I defer to you on revbump and builder notification, no further input
here.  Not sure how best to notify big-endian LP32 builders (powerpc,
m68k, sparc, mipseb, sh3eb, armeb?), might just be jklos@.)
