That's surprising, given that php8x can't run a lot of programs written
for 56 and the language itself hasn't been so backward compatible.

There are 137 non-comment non-blank lines in php.ini-production.
Perhaps they really haven't changed since 5, but it doesn't seem safe to
not understand ones changes and merge them forward.
