*Output*? Hmm...... do you have tostop set on the tty? It is not
supposed to be on by default. Turning it off will probably make the
behavior go away. (And, if you didn't intend it to be on, how it got
turned on is another good question, and probably a bug.)
This happens on completely new, unmodified systems with zero changes to any dotfiles anywhere.
It's still a bug in python that this happens, but also not super surprising that it wouldn't get noticed.
Anyone who runs pkg_rolling-replace non-interactively would see this. I wonder why it's not happening with pbulk builds...
