You are welcome to start a proposal to move pkg-vulnerabilities to the directory that usually denotes $LOCALBASE/var. I view that issues as independent of where pkgdb is, as /var/db/pkg being PKG_DBDIR has been a NetBSD-only oddity. <humor>But if you do this, you'll have to post a bond that you will deal with all the fallout.</>
