I came across this and while it's GNU/Linux-centric I do see homebrew and FreeBSD listed. If anyone is inclined to teach it about pkgsrc that would be cool, and we might be able to get automated lists of "package is in pkgsrc but released version is higher" out of it. The hard part is parsing all the upstreams and it seems they are already doing that. https://release-monitoring.org
